How to Apply Your DTF Transfers 
Using a Heat Press

Use either the video below or the step-by-step photos below the video apply your DTF transfers with a heat press.

  • 5–8 Seconds Press

  • Firm Flat Pressure

  • Peel Hot, Warm or Cold!

  • 280°F – 320°F

Step 1

Place your garment on the press
  • Flat surface for best results
  • Garment should be fully smoothed
  • Center the garment as needed
  • Optional: Quick pre-press to release moisture

Step 2

Place your DTF transfer on the garment.

    Make sure it’s straight, smooth, and facing down ink-side.

Step 3 

Press the transfer onto the garment.
  • Press at 280–320°F for 5–8 seconds
  • Use firm, even pressure across the platen
  • Lower temp and time for polyester or blends
  • Higher temp and full 8 seconds for cotton

Step 4

Peel the film in one smooth motion.

    Cold, warm, or hot peel — all work with our transfers.

Step 5

(Optional) Repress the garment for a soft, matte finish
  • Use parchment or finishing sheet if desired
  • Press for 5 seconds at the same temperature
  • Helps reduce shine and improve feel
  • This step is recommended, but optional.
