UV DTF Transfers by Size
Upload your design and order a ready-to-apply, full-color transfer for smooth hard surfaces.
- No heat press needed
- Full color with opaque white
- One transfer or bulk quantities
Use on smooth glass, acrylic, plastic, ceramic, sealed wood, and compatible coated metal. For shirts or apparel, order regular DTF transfers.
Choose the right surface
Smooth, clean, hard.
That is the sweet spot.
UV DTF bonds through pressure-sensitive adhesive. The smoother and cleaner the surface, the more consistently the design can make full contact.
- Glass and acrylic
- Rigid plastic
- Glazed ceramic
- Sealed wood
- Compatible coated metal
- Fabric and apparel
- Silicone
- Rough or porous material
- Heavily textured surfaces
- Direct food-contact areas
Coatings and textures vary. Test an unfamiliar surface before committing to a full production run.
Apply without heat
Four calm steps.
No press required.
Take your time with placement and pressure. A clean surface and a firm burnish do most of the work.
-
01
Clean and dry
Remove dust, oil, and moisture. Let the surface dry completely.
-

Surface, artwork, application, and care guidance for a cleaner first result.
What are UV DTF transfers?
UV DTF transfers are full-color designs printed on transfer film for smooth hard surfaces. They use pressure-sensitive adhesive and are applied by peeling, positioning, burnishing, and removing the carrier film.
Can I use UV DTF on shirts or fabric?
No. UV DTF is made for compatible hard surfaces, not fabric or apparel. For shirts, hoodies, and other garments, use our custom DTF transfers by size.
Which surfaces work best?
Smooth glass, acrylic, rigid plastic, glazed ceramic, sealed wood, and compatible coated metal are good starting points. Adhesion varies with texture and coating, so test unfamiliar surfaces before a full run.
Do I need a heat press?
No. Clean and dry the surface, peel the white backing, position the transfer, burnish it firmly, and slowly remove the clear carrier. Do not heat-press UV DTF transfers.
What artwork file should I upload?
A high-resolution transparent PNG at 300 DPI at final size is preferred. Vector PDF, SVG, or AI artwork is also ideal. Clean edges and sufficient resolution help preserve small details.
How does the selected size work?
The selected dimensions are the maximum print area. We preserve your artwork's proportions and fit it within that size instead of stretching the design.
What is the difference between roll and pre-cut?
Roll orders keep copies grouped together for you to trim. Pre-cut orders arrive as individually trimmed transfers and add 35 cents per copy.
How should I care for the finished item?
Hand wash when possible. Avoid soaking, harsh chemicals, abrasive scrubbing, and high heat. Keep the transfer away from direct food-contact and drinking-rim areas.
Can UV DTF reproduce small details?
Clean, high-resolution artwork can reproduce fine lines and detailed shapes. Extremely thin elements may be harder to transfer consistently, so review delicate designs at final size before uploading.
