Thicken hairlines and thin script before you upload, and press one test piece first. When every fine line has to stay razor sharp, Standard DTF keeps it crisp.
Pressing
Press firm. Peel cold.
Glitter has a little more body than standard DTF. Firm pressure and a patient, cold peel lock every flake onto the shirt.
- 01 Press at 310°F 15 seconds, firm pressure. Heat press only.
- 02 Let it cool fully Hands off until it is cool to the touch.
- 03 Peel cold Start at a corner, keep the film low and pull back in one smooth motion.
- 04 Seal the shine Optional: press 5 to 10 seconds under a Teflon sheet.
- Cold means cold. A full cool-down keeps every flake on the shirt.
- Film holding on? Let it cool a little longer, add pressure, press again and retry.
- Teflon keeps the shine. Use a Teflon cover sheet on glitter to protect the sparkle.

Aftercare

- Wait 24 hoursGive the adhesive a day to set before the first wash.
- Turn it inside outThe glitter side faces in for every wash.
- Wash coldMild detergent, no hotter than 104°F.
- Skip bleach and softenerPlain detergent keeps the finish at its best.
- Hang dryGlitter lasts longest when it skips the dryer.

What is glitter DTF?
A direct to film transfer printed on glitter DTF film. Your full color design gets a glitter layer over the whole design, so the print sparkles every time it catches light. You press it on with a heat press, like other DTF transfers.
Does the whole design sparkle?
Yes. The glitter layer covers the entire design, edge to edge. The shirt around the design stays exactly as it is.
Can I mix glitter and standard designs on one sheet?
Each sheet prints on one film, so every design on a glitter sheet comes out glitter. Put the designs you want to sparkle on a glitter sheet and the rest on a standard sheet.
Do my colors stay full color?
Yes. Glitter goes over your full color design, so logos and multi-color art keep their colors with sparkle across them.
Which designs work best?
Bold text, numbers, logos and shapes with solid fills. For hairline details or very thin script, thicken the lines before you upload or press a test piece first.
Does it work on dark shirts?
Yes. Glitter DTF works on any garment color, on cotton, blends and polyester. For stretchy athletic fabric or prints that cross a seam, press a test piece first.
How do I press it?
Use a heat press at 310°F for 15 seconds with firm pressure. Let it cool fully, then peel cold. For extra finish, press again for 5 to 10 seconds under a Teflon sheet. Settings vary by press, so test one piece first.
Can I use a household iron?
Use a heat press for glitter. It gives the even heat and firm pressure the glitter layer needs to bond.
How do I wash it?
Wait 24 hours before the first wash. Turn it inside out, wash cold with mild detergent, skip bleach and fabric softener, and hang dry for the longest sparkle.
Does it feel different from standard DTF?
It has a little more body than standard DTF. That texture is the glitter layer, and it is what catches the light.
What if my file has an issue?
Every file is checked by a person before it prints. If we see low quality or sizing issues, we pause production and contact you. If the quality isn't perfect, we reprint it.
