What is 9-Color
Standard DTF, plus four more inks.
Standard DTF mixes every color from cyan, magenta, yellow and black over a white base. 9-Color adds red, green, blue and orange. Eight color inks plus white reach brighter oranges, reds, greens and blues, neon-like tones, smoother gradients and truer skin tones, on the same film and adhesive you already press.

- Stick to the time. Extra heat or time dulls the brightness you ordered.
- Pick your finish. A Teflon sheet gives the most pop. Parchment or a cotton cover gives a softer matte look.

What is 9-Color DTF?
Direct to film transfers printed with eight color inks plus white: cyan, magenta, yellow and black, plus red, green, blue and orange. The extra inks widen the color range, so bright and saturated colors print closer to your file.
How is it different from standard DTF?
Standard DTF prints CMYK plus white. 9-Color adds red, green, blue and orange. Film, adhesive and pressing stay the same. The difference is the color: brighter oranges, reds, greens and blues, neon-like tones, smoother gradients and more natural skin tones.
Do I need to prepare my file differently?
No. Upload the same PNG, PDF, AI or EPS file you would send for standard DTF. Export in RGB to keep your brightest colors intact all the way to the printer.
Does it press differently?
No. Same settings as standard DTF: 320°F for cotton or 280°F for polyester and blends, 8 seconds, firm even pressure. Peel hot or cold. One press is enough.
Does it work on dark shirts?
Yes. Every design prints over a white base, so 9-Color works on light and dark garments: cotton, polyester, 50/50, canvas, denim and more.
Can I mix standard and 9-Color designs?
Each sheet prints with one ink set. Put the designs that live on color on a 9-Color sheet and the rest on a standard sheet.
When does it ship?
Order by 2:30 PM CT, Monday to Saturday, to ship the same day. We ship nationwide from our US facility.
What if my file has an issue?
Every file is checked by a person before it prints. If we see low quality or sizing issues, we pause production and contact you. If the quality isn't perfect, we reprint it.
