Pressing
Keep it in range. Peel it cold.
Rainbow reflective presses like the specialty films: a heat press, medium to firm pressure and a cold peel. Stay in range and the flash stays bright.
Start at 310°F for 12 seconds with medium to firm pressure.
- 01 Press at 310°F 12 seconds, medium to firm pressure. Heat press only.
- 02 Let it cool fully Hands off until it is cool to the touch. Thick prints can take a few minutes.
- 03 Peel cold Pull the film back low over itself in one smooth motion.
- 04 Seal under Teflon Optional: press 5 to 10 seconds under a Teflon sheet for extra finish.
- Stay in range. Overpressing dulls the reflection, so keep the heat at 300 to 320°F.
- Heat press only. Even heat and real pressure bond the reflective layer. Household irons heat unevenly.
- Skip softener and bleach. Both dull the reflective layer.
Works onCotton, blends and polyester. Settings vary by press, so press a test piece first.
Aftercare

Individual rainbow reflective DTF transfers, printed at the size you pick. In everyday light the print reads soft and subtle, and under headlights and camera flash it flashes rainbow color. Printed on rainbow reflective DTF film in-house in the USA. Upload your design, choose a size and quantity, then choose roll or pre-cut.
Small: 2x2 to 5x3 inches for hats, left chest and sleeves.
Mid size: 5x5 to 8x8 inches for youth tees and text logos.
Full size: 9x9 to 12x17 inches for adult full front or back prints.
Bold designs, open letters and solid shapes flash best at every size.
Pricing is based on size only. No per-color fees. No setup charges.
Roll (Uncut): your transfers arrive together on the rainbow reflective film. Trim them apart when you are ready to press.
Pre-Cut: Ready to Press: each transfer arrives cut apart, ready for the press.

Use a heat press. Settings vary by press, so press a test piece first.

2. Let it cool fully. Thick prints can take a few minutes.
3. Peel cold, keeping the film low and pulling it back over itself.
4. Optional: press 5 to 10 seconds under a Teflon sheet for extra finish.
Stay in the 300 to 320°F range. Overpressing dulls the reflection.
Wait 24 hours before the first wash. Turn it inside out, wash cold with mild detergent, and skip bleach and fabric softener, because both dull the reflective layer. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Hang drying gives the longest life.

Soft and subtle, with a slightly silver look. The rainbow shows when direct light hits it, like a camera flash or headlights.
The reflective layer sends light back toward where it came from. A camera flash sits right next to the lens, so the photo catches the rainbow flash.
Both flash back under direct light. Silver flashes bright silver, rainbow flashes color. Choose silver for a clean, bright flash and rainbow when you want every photo to pop with color.
Rainbow reflective is a style finish. For certified hi-vis, pair it with rated safety gear.

Roll keeps your transfers together on the film for you to trim. Pre-cut arrives cut apart and ready to press. Both use the same rainbow reflective film and press the same way.
Use a heat press at 310°F for 12 seconds with medium to firm pressure. Let it cool fully, which can take a few minutes on thick prints, then peel cold. For extra finish, press again for 5 to 10 seconds under a Teflon sheet. Settings vary by press, so test one piece first.
Stay in the 300 to 320°F range, keep the art bold and light, and wash without softener or bleach. Overpressing, heavy ink coverage and softener all dull the reflective layer.
